about me

My focus as a creator has always been on connection and emotions, this is how I fell in love with storytelling.  I began writing creatively at the age of 16 in music as a ghostwriter and have grown more compassionate and empathetic in my writing every year.  Originally I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and I believe my resilience and sense of self was solidified there, but it was my time as a child and young man in New York City that gave me the community and freedom to explore different styles and mediums to truly find myself through art.  I spent valuable time as a music producer and street photographer before fully immersing myself in the world of screenwriting, directing, and producing. 

 

Beyond art I am deeply committed to community and the causes that positively affect everyday people, and I use my God given talents and platforms to try and make a meaningful impact in this world.  I am a champion of inclusivity and I strive to bring diverse voices and backgrounds to every level of all of my projects.  My wish is that my storytelling will reflects the richness of different cultures, perspectives, and lived experiences on every level of our society.
